Our Staff Strength

We have now more than 130 staff and most of them have been with us for more than 10 years. More than 50% of our staff strength is directly involved in our project management and installations.

All our service and key personnel are equipped with mobile phones and communication sets as we are presently providing round-the-clock service contracts with more than 50 cinema halls as well as hotel facilities, places of entertainment like nightclubs and discotheques, etc.

Our technical staffs are specialized and trained to provide maintenance training as well as on-the-job training. Our key System Integrators and engineers are also CTS certified as well as BSS certified for designing, installing and maintenance of BSS and CROWN IQ Equipment and Systems. Our Cinema Engineers are also DOLBY factory trained for 3D digital cinema and movie server installation as well as their digital 5.1 cinema sound processors. We have trained many technicians who worked on our projects to date as we are fully aware that no matter how good the installation can be, it is only as good as the technicians who will operate it.

We have provided on-the-job training of new and old projectionists for Cathay Organization, Golden Screens, Filmgarde, Eng Wah Films and a few others for their staffs to achieve a higher level of competency on the job.

We bought STUDER S. E. ASIA PTE LTD, a company incorporated in 1983, from Harman International in December 1995 to serve the Broadcast and Recording Industry with the same conviction and relocate them from Cactus Road to Outram Road for the convenience of our customers. We changed the name to BROADCAST PROFESSIONAL PTE LTD on 1st April 2005, to broaden our horizon and to better meet the challenge of the new millennium. Broadcast Professional has their own warehouse facilities located at #08-09 Tan Boon Liat Building.

We celebrated our 45th year anniversary in January 1996 in conjunction with the official opening of our own rebuilt and renovated 4-storey 5000 sq ft building at 285 Outram Road, a few doors away from 271 Outram Road where the Company first started in 1951. Our showroom is located on the ground floor, where a range of our product lines are being displayed. Demo units of most products are available for evaluation / comparison for the convenience of our customers.

We celebrated our 50th Anniversary in January 2001 in conjunction with the official opening of our own renovated 4-storey (6 levels) GWH Building at 289 Outram Road, at the corner of Outram and Seng Poh Road. Broadcast Professional Pte Ltd occupies the 1st storey (ground) and Mezzanine Floor including their storage facilities in the Basement. Our Design & Projects office and training center is located on the 2nd and 3rd storey.

We also own our 3 warehouse units at #08-08, #08-09 and #10-08, at Tan Boon Liat Building at 315 Outram Road totaling 12,000 sq ft. The 3 warehouses are all fitted with commercial dehumidifying units so that delicate electronic equipment and speaker components are kept in its best mint condition before delivery. The equipment is also stored in multi-tier racks with motorized fork lifts and stacking equipment to minimize handling damages.

On 1st April 2005, we integrated the service departments of both E&E and Broadcast Professional and relocated at 273 Outram Road, a few doors away from both offices for the convenience of our customers. E&E TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD previously set up to serve the AV/IT industry, is now our AV/IT service and maintenance arm of E&E and provide programmers and trainers on new AV/IT installations. All AV/IT sales are now taken care of by E&E for the benefits of both our AV/IT and Pro-Sound Customers.

Our Malaysian branch office in Kuala Lumpur, known as SYSTEMS ELECTRONICS & ENGINEERING SDN BHD moved into our brand new 3-storey building located at No. 16, 4/93A, Warisan Cityview, Off Batu 2? Jalan Cheras, 56100 Kuala Lumpur on 1st April 2005. We have a 1000 sq ft showroom, a large warehouse as well as a service center with a well-equipped workshop on the ground floor to support and service both our Malaysian Dealers and End-Users. Our sales, admin and accounts are located on the second storey.

Our Indonesian branch office in Jakarta, known as E&E INDONESIA, was re-established in 2003 after the riots and moved into our new renovated 4-storey building located at Komplek Agung Sedayu Blok N-3, Harco Mangga Dua, Jakarta 10730. We have a 900 sq ft showroom on the ground floor, a service center with a well-equipped workshop as well as sales, administration, meeting rooms and warehouse facilities on the upper floors. Our technicians are trained to service our Crown power amplifiers and Soundcraft/Spirit mixing consoles, as well as our other product lines.

In June 2008, we established our own branch office in India known as E&E Systems (India) Pte Ltd located at #14, Bhattrahalli Old Madras Road, KR Puram Bangalore ?560049, India. Our branch office in India is also a systems integrator and service center. We represent Tascam product exclusively for India and help maintain their Tascam (India) service center in Bangalore.

ON JANUARY 26th, 2011, we celebrated our 60th Anniversary with a dinner at Shangri La Hotel.

We have a wholly-owned subsidiary company, ENG KONG ENGINEERING WORKS, located at Block 38, Toh Guan Road East, #01-53, with a well-equipped 9,000 sq ft work-shop that fabricates and manufactures our heavy steel work like speaker clusters, motorized lighting and scenery hoists, screen frames and curtain tracks, etc. We also have the capability and our own resources to design and fabricate our own cinema chairs (more than 12,000 have been installed) and motorized revolving extendible stages (more than 12 installed to-date) and heavy duty lighting and scenery hoists.

Above our workshop at the same premises, there is a second level of 6 meter height with another 9,000 sq ft of working space as well as storage facilities and fitted with a one ton traveling motorized hoist that is capable of lifting finished goods or raw material from the ground level to the 2nd level and stored in heavy duty industrial racking system. The whole 2nd level is also kept dry with commercial dehumidifiers
