E&E supplied Expo AV Insync with four Powersoft Digam K2 two-channel amplifiers, six Digam K10s and four Digam M50Q four-channel amps, complete with corresponding DSP and AESOP network options.
The company also invested in a total of 10 channels of Shure UR4D+ receivers, along with various UR2/Beta58A wireless handheld microphones, UR1 wireless bodypack transmitters and WL184 lavalier microphones. In addition to this, 12 channels of SLX receivers with bodypacks and a number of wireless handheld microphone combination systems were also added to the company’s inventory.
‘Expo AV has been one of our most prestigious customers,’ said Eric Ong, sales and product manager at E&E. ‘Most of the events they run are high SPL applications and require a robust, easily maintained and reliable system. The combination of the Powersoft K series and the newly acquired M series amplifiers gave them exactly what they wanted as well as providing an upgrade option for future speaker expansion.’
‘We chose Shure because the brand has always offered us reliability and ease of operations,’ commented Gerard Rodrigues, MD of Expo AV. ‘They have proven to be a brand that gives you piece of mind, and provide high-quality sound that goes beyond the limits. We are also very pleased with the Powersoft amplifiers because they are reliable, powerful and networking the amps has never been easier. We were looking for other options but many did not fit our requirements based on the line-arrays that we purchased from Turbosound. The K-Series amps just made sense and we haven’t looked back since,’ he enthused.
Mr Rodrigues said that ‘we are constantly expanding to meet the needs of our customers. E&E provides such strong technical and after-sales support, and we look forward to more collaborations and partnerships with them in the future.’
