Electronics & Engineering holds the honour for the design and installation of the sound system for the first truly discotheque in Singapore, called “Gino’s-a-Go-Go.” The disco fad was just beginning in the late 60s and E&E was called upon to design and install high end sound systems into many of the country’s trendiest nightspots, such as the Barbarella Discotheque in Ming Court Hotel, and the Lost Horizon at the Shangri-la Hotel.
